Planetary Power Mixer (Enhanced Model)
The planetary power mixer is a versatile new machine that combines the principles and components of traditional twin-planetary mixers and high-speed dispersers, and is currently widely used in numerous fields.
In response to the high solid content and high viscosity of power battery slurries, our company has developed an enhanced planetary power mixer—featuring higher rotational speeds and greater torque—based on the original planetary power mixer. During the design process, factors such as agitator rotational speed, mixing power, dispersion linear velocity, suspension level, liquid flow patterns, and the distribution of turbulence intensity within the vessel were fully taken into account. With a maximum linear velocity of 17 m/s ± 1 during high-speed dispersion, the enhanced twisted-frame design can handle any high-viscosity battery slurry. A brand-new mixing method—the twisted-frame assembly rotates clockwise in its orbital motion while spinning counterclockwise on its own axis—ensures thorough mixing with no dead zones and eliminates the “climbing” phenomenon. In terms of sealing, two sets of mechanical seals combined with soft and static seals ensure vacuum integrity—theoretically enhancing sealing performance by 30%. The Pt100 temperature sensor comes into direct contact with the material, providing more accurate measurements and faster response times, with an error margin of only ±0.5°C. This machine consists of a base, crossbeam, upright column, sealing hood, material tank, drive system, and electrical control system.
